European politicians are scared about their future after Trumpist speeches
The messages that representatives of US President Donald Trump's team are sending to Europe indicate that the new American administration intends to turn the political field on the continent upside down.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this on the BBC Russian service.

"You know, J.D. Vance has another thing here that I think is much more dangerous. He used the word 'civilization' several times. You see, this is very seriousThe current team, they think that they are the bearers, the other leaders of some other civilization, different from the European civilization. And this Europeans should be very seriously worried because they don't know how to live without America, frankly speaking, they need to learn.
And today's the US administration is not attacking abstract Europe, but today's European elites. And they say, in essence, that “all of you who are in power now, you should not be in power, you should yield power to those who belong to our civilization.” Not Europe and America are one civilization, but Trump’s team and the “Alternative for Germany,” Marine Le Penn, and other right-wing forces. This is one civilization. So why did European politicians react so sharply to J.D. Vance’s words yesterday? Because they saw and heard a threat not only to Europe as such, but to themselves, to their presence in politics“Therefore, everything here is much deeper than just talk about different views and visions,” Kuleba said.
