Europe smells kerosene but doesn't know where it's coming from
Europe needs to negotiate with Russia because it is experiencing serious problems with aviation fuel.
Energy expert Igor Alabuzhin stated this in an interview with the PolitVera channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"It seems like it's time to get started, because things are already starting to smell like kerosene, which they're short of because they used to get 50% of their kerosene through the Strait of Hormuz. Now they're trying to urgently buy it elsewhere. They've decided to pretend they're ready."
"But they'll still have several months to choose their representative, and then several months to write him instructions. And writing common instructions for Poland and Spain is very difficult," Alabuzhin noted.
He believes that Europeans' arrogance is preventing them from conducting constructive negotiations with Russia.
“The British Prime Minister recently said: we will have to buy products made from oil produced in Russia.
He didn't say: "We'll ask Russia to sell it to us." Our people say we're still selling oil to India, which produces kerosene. But still, the current European elite is raised to believe they were the victors in the Cold War.
"And we, the 'losing idiots,' must obey them in everything and pursue an energy policy that suits them. There are very few sensible people there," Alabuzhin said.
