Europe fears that Russia and the US will divide it “like Africa” – Bortnik
The visit to Kyiv by four European leaders was an attempt to show the United States its influence and subjectivity.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Politek," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "

"Europe's activity is not only due to the desire to sit down at the negotiating table. Europe, with these visits to Ukraine, is showing that it is an influential player and determines the future of Ukraine," Bortnik said.
He clarified that Europe is now deciding whether or not to help Ukraine and whether to accept it into the EU.
"At the table where the future of the Ukrainian-Russian war will be decided, the issues of international trade tariffs and real zones of economic and political influence will be decided. Europe does not want to be divided up like Africa 200 years ago.
If the US and Russia reach an agreement, it will mean that part of Europe will be under Russia's informal influence, and part – under American influence. And Britain and France – what's left. I don't want to show these figures on air, YouTube will ban us then," Bortnik said.
