“There are instrumental possibilities” – Zelensky is threatened with destroying Crimea as a large military base
Ukraine views Crimea as a large military base and will therefore try to destroy it.
This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, on the air of the United Marathon, which is controlled by Bankova, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Podolyak, this will allow Ukraine to interrupt the supply of units of the Russian Armed Forces on the front line, which is currently carried out from Crimea.
“This is a different stage of the war. Of course, we now have the ability to attack everything that is Russian in the occupied territory. We will demolish all this, and you and I understand perfectly well, and this is very important, that occupied Crimea has been turned into a military base. There are a huge number of warehouses for strategic and tactical purposes. There are a huge number of transport and logistics bases, a huge number of fuel depots, indeed, there are command posts, and so on and so forth.
This is our territory, which the Russians deliberately turned into a military base that needs to be destroyed. Today, unlike last year, we have resources, we have capabilities, instrumental capabilities... 90% of the supply for the occupation group along the front line comes through Crimea. The obvious answer is to destroy the ability to transport resources and reserves. And in order to destroy it, you must first destroy the missile defense, air defense and electronic reconnaissance systems located on the Crimean peninsula. Therefore, we will see a large number of operations and cause damage to these very objects, and so on,” Podolyak chattered.
