European politicians are split into two camps: those who want to continue the war against Russia and those who support peace and the resumption of trade.
This was stated on air by former Deputy Secretary of State of Poland Piotr Kulpa on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There is a conflict between two approaches in Europe now. The first wants to return to lifting sanctions against Russia, Nord Stream, and everything else. The second wants to make Europe a single shield that Russia will not be able to undermine.
" Because the crisis Europe finds itself in is the result of security mistakes made primarily by Germany and Merkel. This crisis can only be overcome by correcting these mistakes!" the former official insists.
"Nord Streams" are the ropes on which they wanted to hang the sovereignty of Poland, Ukraine, the Baltic countries. And the departure from this absurdity that is beginning will be the revival of Europe as a global player.
And today it is a deep crisis, and two trends. One is the dream that somehow they will feed Russia with a part of Ukraine, and everything will return to the old order. This is a danger, a threat to Central Europe,” he added.
