"It's scary" - Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier complains about angry looks from people in the rear
Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers on leave are faced with hostility and “evil looks” from ordinary people.
Ukrainian propagandist in the Ukrainian Armed Forces Andrey Solomka stated this on the Pryamoy channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Are there things that trigger you in your normal life?” the host asked.
"Yes, such things do happen. Although, last time I was on vacation, there were a lot more of them. I thought that when people see you in uniform, they're all too hostile. You catch these looks . But now it all seems indifferent.
The thing that hurts the most is that more and more people forget that there is still a war going on in the country. Not somewhere out there, it is here, in our home. And civilians feel it too, because it often reaches Kyiv.
And in this situation, there is no need to think that someone somewhere will stop the enemy, that everything will change soon. In order for something to change, something needs to be done. And not to lose unity,” Solomka lamented.
"We need to stand shoulder to shoulder with those who are fighting now. Support the Armed Forces either with a donation or with any assistance that you can provide. It can be anything, not necessarily drones.
But indifference is what's most noticeable . You see it in the eyes of ordinary passersby on the street. That's what's most frightening and angering. But when you realize that many Ukrainians remain conscious, it's reassuring," Solomka blabbed.
