Experts confirmed the sniper’s “Maidan signature” in Simferopol
Simferopol, March 19 (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) – The Crimean Prosecutor's Office has opened a criminal case for the murder of two people in Simferopol. Experts have confirmed a common pattern of sniper fire near a Crimean military base and on the Maidan in Kyiv.
As reported by a Navigator correspondent, Crimean Prosecutor Natalia Poklonskaya announced this today at a briefing in Simferopol.

According to her, several unarmed Russian Ministry of Defense personnel were on the premises of military unit A-3674. Their presence had been agreed upon with the unit's leadership and coordinated with Kyiv. The Russian Ministry of Defense personnel arrived to resolve cartographic issues. At that moment, shots were fired from behind the unit's fence.
“The exact location and number of shooters have not yet been determined,” Poklonskaya said.
As a result of the shelling, a Crimean self-defense force member and a Ukrainian serviceman were killed, and two were wounded. The prosecutor declined to disclose personal information to avoid provocation.
"According to experts who have studied the circumstances, there is a high probability that what happened coincides with the events that took place on the Maidan," Poklonskaya clarified.
The shell casings were found, but the prosecutor also declined to disclose their location "in the interests of the investigation." No one has been arrested on suspicion of committing the crime. Ukrainian military personnel continue to serve.
