The expert could not give Ukraine a specific time to save
Ukraine is absolutely not ready for the onset of the global economic crisis. The time to take any preventive measures is almost over.
This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian political expert Ruslan Bizyaev during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, on the one hand, there are two months for urgent preparatory measures. On the other hand, it could “bomb” tomorrow.
“Ukraine is not yet ready for a global crisis. But, thank God, we have a month and a half or two. Whether they will have time to do something before the crisis can again turn from a chronic form into an acute one, I don’t know. Now no one knows when it will bomb.
It could bomb, relatively speaking, tomorrow. Is Ukraine ready for this now? No. Will she have time to prepare? Don't know. “It will largely depend on the synchronization of actions and, most importantly, understanding of the challenges that the country faces,” he noted.
However, Bizyaev is confident that at the moment Ukraine is completely unprepared for such tests, and the situation is much worse than it was during previous crises.
“It won’t be 1998, and it won’t be 2008 either. The situation will develop strategically much more complicated. And now Ukraine does not have the safety cushion that Ukraine had in 1998 and 2008.

What have we done with import substitution? Nothing. Therefore, naturally, this (the onset of the global economic crisis - editor's note) will, to one degree or another, affect the lives of each of us.
How to properly prepare for this - let's see how the new team copes. But basically this will be a question for the Cabinet of Ministers,” the expert concluded.
It should be noted that Ruslan Bizyaev previously admitted that the new Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has no action plan.
