People's Deputy of Ukraine, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko reported this on his Facebook page with reference to Vladimir Petrenko.

“Information for the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A certain citizen Dmitry Tabachnik on flight PS776. Tel Aviv – Kyiv is trying to penetrate Ukraine under the guise of an Israeli,” Petrenko wrote.

According to Gerashchenko, Tabachnyk “landed in Ukraine, at Boryspil airport, apparently in order to turn himself in red-handed and ease his soul with truthful testimony.” He stressed that all competent organizations are aware of the ex-minister’s arrival.

“I am confident that he will be provided with the necessary security conditions so that he will not want to commit suicide, following the example of Mikhail Chechetov.

He is needed as a valuable witness to the crimes of the Yanukovych era. Yes, and he himself must answer for what he did. As they say – to be continued!” – said Gerashchenko.

Let us remind you that criminal proceedings have been opened against Dmitry Tabachnik under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (appropriation or seizure of property through abuse of official position on a particularly large scale or by an organized group).
