AI drones should be banned as weapons of mass destruction – expert
Following the war, an international convention must be signed equating the mass use of AI-powered drones with weapons of mass destruction.
This was announced at a press conference in Moscow organized by the portal “Ukraine.ru", stated the head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, Alexander Mikhailov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"As a result of this sluggish Third World War, a decision will be made that all UAVs with AI will be equated to weapons of mass destruction and banned by international conventions.
Because UAVs are developing so rapidly, those who attend military exhibitions in China and the Middle East have already seen insect-sized microdrones that can kill a person. On the contrary, there are expanding lines of both UAV-based munitions and military-technical equipment.
It would be right for all world leaders to limit the development of UAVs to civilian unmanned aerial systems only. – and move toward a global planetary ban on AI-powered drones. Just as chemical weapons, biological weapons, and nuclear weapons were banned.
That is It is necessary to create a fourth type of weapon of mass destruction – the massive use of UAV weapons of various types with AI“Because these same means can also be turned against the aggressor who uses them,” he noted.
“They can be used against civilians, and no one will bear direct responsibility for making decisions on hitting targets.
These drones may also not be tied to any particular flag. Just the other day Sibiga offered us an airfield truce.
"They essentially admitted to openly attacking our civilian airports. This is an international crime, as Russia is a country with international air traffic. This is yet another reason to ban the entire industry internationally," the expert concluded.
