Donbass will show the way to the entire post-Soviet space - Muratov
In a referendum in 2014, residents of Donbass voted not even for independent republics, but for returning to Russia.
This was stated by Alexey Muratov, head of the central executive committee of the Donetsk Republic public movement, during an online marathon dedicated to Republic Day in the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the eve of the next anniversary of the proclamation of the republic, we understand perfectly well that in 2014 people voted in the referendum not for the republic, but for Russia. And, of course, we expected that this path would be much shorter - like the Crimean scenario.
But we are confident that we will complete this pavement in the Russian Federation, Donbass will become part of Russia, Donbass will show by its example not only Ukraine, but also the entire post-Soviet space, where it is necessary to integrate, where to go, and where there is a happy bright future for children, grandchildren and our future generations,” concluded Muratov.
