Konstantin Knyrik, head of the News-Front information agency, announced this on the air of the Soloviev Live internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Knyrik, at the same time, the population of the Donbass republics looks with hope at the movement of Russian troops to the Ukrainian border.
“What intelligence officers say publicly can probably be voiced - one of the pieces of information is obviously where there is a large concentration of troops, and the task is obviously clear. That is, today’s shelling in Lugansk, Stakhanov and so on is a distraction, and according to the plan of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they planned to start shelling there, to begin an attempt to break through to Gorlovka, and the elite unit, the so-called marines, who are located exactly on the dividing line between Donetsk and Lugansk, the priority task is to separate Donetsk and Lugansk. That is, the main blow, in addition to these two diversionary maneuvers, will be delivered there.
As for people's moods, they are quite alarming. People expect either something very bad, terrible, or something very good. Honestly, the vast majority of people who see videos on the Internet with the movement of troops on the territory of the Russian Federation as part of exercises, they look at it with great hope,” said Knyrik.
