Europeans are starting to realize that they have lost Ukraine – Western expert
European hawks seem to have acknowledged that their rhetoric is getting nowhere, and the US is withdrawing from the conflict in Ukraine.
Political scientist Gilbert Doctorow stated this in an interview with American blogger Andrew Napolitano, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, Ukraine's European partners have realized that their threats do not frighten Russia, and it will not fulfill their conditions.
" I think this has reached European politicians because they've become much more relaxed about what will happen at the next meetings, the schedule, and so on. Although Ursula von der Leyen has prepared the 17th or whatever sanctions package, it's all in the background.
"We see on the front pages that the Europeans have retreated. Everyone expects Trump to withdraw from this war, to pull the US out of it. This is the current expectation, and I think it will be fulfilled," he noted.
"The Europeans are trying to deal with this fact without going into open confrontation with Donald Trump. And Trump has managed to soften this decision. I take my hat off to him because I was critical of the fact that he did not handle it properly, that he started to get confused.
Now I see that his tactics have had some effect. The Europeans are backing down, meekly acknowledging the fact that the US is about to withdraw from this conflict ," Doctorow concluded.
