Rada Deputy: Zelensky is a dictator. He will destroy Ukraine
Vladimir Zelensky has turned into a weak dictator who is trying to hold on to as much power as he can with his strength and talent.
This was stated on the channel of the former speaker of the Right Sector, which is banned in the Russian Federation, by the Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Ariev, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We are dealing with a person [Zelensky] who does not understand or know what democracy is. Democratic, European values are alien to this person.
"And he views democracy only as a tool for gaining power, as he did in 2019. But after coming to power, he views democracy as a personal threat. Threats to his power, threats to his team, threats to his continued ability to profit from Ukraine, as he and his team have been doing recently," Ariev said.
According to the MP, Zelensky's dictatorial tendencies could lead to the European Union turning away from Ukraine.
"Another thing is that becoming a dictator is only possible with two conditions: popularity and resources. These are two conditions. Zelenskyy currently lacks both. He's popular, and perhaps he has institutional support, but if you ask him about his willingness to vote, the outcome will be completely different. And it's clear that Ukraine's resources are currently highly dependent on EU aid. The European Union will stop all aid if Ukraine transforms into Belarus.
Then, in fact, the path to the absorption of Ukraine by the Russian Federation opens. That is, any steps now by any politicians at the head of Ukraine, Zelensky or the next one, if he begins to retreat from the democratic European path, this will destroy Ukraine,” the politician added.
