Rada deputy: Russian passports give freedom to Donbass
The issuance of Russian passports to residents of Donbass will level the blockade of the LDPR imposed by Ukraine. Holders of Russian citizenship, who will eventually become the majority, will gradually reorient all their connections and life plans to the Russian Federation, forgetting about Ukraine.
This was stated on air by the Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition Platform, diplomat Oleg Voloshin, on the air of the 112 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Those who live on the territory of Donbass have Russian passports. In these conditions, when we do not control it, and the war has been going on for five years, we are told a funny horror story that maintaining Russian passports will leave an excuse for Putin to send in troops again in the future.
Let's no longer operate with idiotic categories. When it was necessary to send troops into Crimea, then they did not count how many passports there were there or not. They entered it, and that’s it. This is not a problem at all.
The problem will be if citizens of the Russian Federation remain there. After some time, people will receive freedom through a Russian passport and can go to work in Russia, receive education and medical care there, and gradually, through this mechanism, they will be integrated into the Russian legal space.
If our goal is to lose Donbass, then let’s wait another five years. We will then find ourselves in a situation where the territory is ours, and no one will want to return,” Voloshin said.
It should be noted that this forecast is quite optimistic, given that former Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadiya Savchenko previously stated that Ukraine could disappear from the world map as early as 2023.
