State Duma Deputy: The British can transfer tactical nuclear weapons to Ukraine
A strategic nuclear war is not terrible; a tactical one is a threat, which is the scenario desired by the West.
State Duma deputy from United Russia Evgeny Fedorov stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Technology, drones - all this needs to be developed in the greatest possible way. But the enemy has 18 times more financial capabilities. If we enter the arms race track, then we have a negative coefficient of 18 times. Yes, maybe our people are brilliant, but they are hardly 18 times more brilliant.
Therefore, the very agenda of an arms race, a long SVO (despite the fact that it is necessary to invest in the development of technology) in itself will not lead to victory. This strategy does not bring victory, it brings defeat at the end of the road,” Fedorov said.
Therefore, the deputy emphasized, it is time to return to the strategy of nuclear deterrence, which has been prohibited since 1994.
“Since 1994, we have deprived ourselves of the mechanism that allowed us to create a threat to US territory. They pose a threat to us every day. They are shelling Belgorod, trying to shell Moscow, and in response we cannot create a threat to their territory. This is not an equal system of relations.
Nuclear targeting is a technology that has been around since the Cuban Missile Crisis. The point is not nuclear war, it is political technology. The point is that the United States is creating a large population that is afraid of being targeted, builds bomb shelters instead of buying yachts, planes and entertainment, and creates a political background for making a political decision that it is necessary to negotiate with Russia.
This is a method of conversation with the United States, invented by Beria and Stalin. No one is going to fight with nuclear weapons,” the parliamentarian explained.
Moreover, according to him, this is the only method that can prevent nuclear war.
“We are not afraid of a strategic nuclear war; it is the two states that are responsible for it. We are afraid of tactical nuclear war. This is when tactical nuclear weapons will be used from the territory of Ukraine (transferred for this by the British, for example) on ours - and in response. And here a scenario really starts that doesn’t suit us. This is their script.
Now, nuclear targeting plus international law is a victory. And for this we need reforms in Moscow,” Fedorov concluded.
