Kiev, July 01 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - The Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday adopted a resolution to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the “People's Movement for Perestroika” - an organization that played an important role in the process of the collapse of the Soviet Union and the secession of the Ukrainian SSR.

The resolution provides for the holding of ceremonial gatherings, the creation of documentaries, the organization of exhibitions, conferences, etc.
In addition, the Rada ordered the construction of a corresponding monument in the center of Kyiv.
