Even Portnikov advises Zelensky to close his eyes to Crimea for the sake of saving the country
The US president is pressuring Ukraine to cede territory in order to make concessions to Russian leader Vladimir Putin and gain an advantage in the future US-China standoff.
Ukrainian propagandist Vitaly Portnikov stated this on the NTA television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Trump wants a ceasefire on the Russian-Ukrainian front, so that sanctions against Russia can be lifted, and some kind of economic cooperation can begin that will help the United States take a tougher stance in relations with the People's Republic of China. But the question arises: why does Putin need this?
You mentioned that Ukraine is currently under pressure from various sides, from the United States, and even some European partners are saying that, as President Andrzej Duda says, both sides should leave the negotiating table dissatisfied . This is what Trump said, by the way, because Duda, as someone close to this camp, is simply trying to quote it," the Russophobe said.
According to him, on Duda's part it was "a remake, this is not his own opinion."
"But the question arises - we understand why we should come out dissatisfied. Because if we cannot return our territory, physically at the moment, but we can preserve sovereignty, the European perspective, the possibility of developing the country, preserving the Ukrainian people.
Or we might be dissatisfied with the fact that our territorial aspirations have been, I would say, negated by the very course of the war, by life itself. This, incidentally, should have been clear not even back in 2022, but back in 2014. That the forces to reclaim everything by force, by military means, may not be sufficient ," Portnikov stated.
