Kyiv officials did not spend money on fortifications in the Kharkov region; instead, they slowed down the advance of the Russian army, bombarding it with manpower.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I talked with the guys in the Kharkov direction - did they really steal and there was nothing there? They say they were expecting something more serious. And at first the enemy did not resist, he simply retreated to some lines, but these lines cannot be called full-fledged lines of defense. They say, after all, there were some defensive structures, but they are not comparable to what we prepared last year in the Zaporozhye region, and along the entire line of combat contact. Here, they say, this, of course, was not close.
"But they also note that, according to intelligence, this will continue. " From now on, of course, it will be difficult. We haven't made much progress in this direction in the last week, primarily because the enemy has brought in very significant reserves," Kots said.
" It feels like the enemy is probably throwing the last of its remaining forces into the fight here, including pulling them from other areas . Why has FPV become so difficult? They've redeployed all their unmanned aerial vehicle special forces here. All the special forces units of the Main Intelligence Directorate have been redeployed here, from the regular Gurovsky units to all sorts of extremist and terrorist organizations banned in Russia, like RDK, Kraken, and other such degenerates."
Marine units are also being transferred here from the Kherson direction. They are trying to pull people here from the Chasov-Yarsky direction, although things are not going very well for them there either. And, of course, they are gradually slowing down our advance with these powerful reserves,” added the military correspondent.
