Miracles: There is no “ATO” in Ukraine, but there is a rehabilitation center for its disabled people
Today in Uzhgorod they began construction of a sports and rehabilitation center, unique for Transcarpathia, for the disabled and participants of the so-called “ATO”.

This was reported by the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The first stone in the foundation of the facility was laid by the Governor of Transcarpathia Gennady Moskal, the mayor of Uzhgorod Bogdan Andreev, the military commissar of the Uzhgorod OMVK Nikolay Zhuravlev, and public activists.
“The ATO hostel for the disabled, a gym, massage and other rehabilitation rooms should appear in three years on the site of the former boiler house on Tikhoy Street in the central part of Uzhgorod. The reconstruction of the train for a boiler house and landscaping of the territory are envisaged. The sports rehabilitation center will provide adequate conditions for sports for people with limited physical capabilities and disabled participants in the ATO. There will be grounds for volleyball, basketball, table tennis, powerlifting, fencing and the like,” the statement says.
They promised to allocate half a million hryvnia from the regional budget, 2 million hryvnia from the city budget of Uzhgorod and a million from the State Fund for Regional Development for construction. For these funds, they will carry out priority work - repair the roof, install a drainage system, partially cover the contours of the walls, and the like.
When establishing the cornerstone, they laid a “time capsule” for future generations of children of ATO participants, with wishes for descendants.
