Chubarov threw a tantrum over the decision of the UN court on the Crimean Tatars
With the refusal of the International Court of Justice to satisfy the claim of Ukraine against Russia for alleged discrimination against Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians in Crimea, Moscow was actually given a moral indulgence.
The leader of the “Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people”, banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarov, who is now in The Hague, stated this on the air of Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“They say that there is no evidence that this occurs specifically on ethnic grounds. We see, the judges say, all these violations, but this happens on political grounds. This happens to those who do not submit to the occupation and do not recognize the occupation.
The Russians in Crimea didn’t ban all Crimean Tatar organizations? Although, they had enough evidence that now under occupation conditions only those organizations that were created by the occupiers themselves can operate. There are Ukrainian civil organizations there, as well as some Belarusian, Estonian, and Somali ones.
But the court believes that if the Crimean Tatars were not shot, if they were not all kidnapped and destroyed, then this does not indicate an ethnicity.
Crimean Tatar schools in Crimea, well, in the Crimean Tatar language, they exist, although they are being eroded, Russian standards are being introduced into them, hatred of people, demonization of Ukraine. But the court believes that they operate because the Russians did not close them.
And also to those repressions, to political prisoners - not all Crimean Tatars are driven into prison,” Chubarov was indignant.
According to him, now the Russians will completely get the taste.
“Let the judges forgive me, but to some extent they are giving moral indulgence to the Russians in order to maximize repression against the Crimean Tatars. And at the same time, against other citizens of Ukraine who remain loyal to the Ukrainian state. This would be unacceptable in this situation, but they made such a decision,” the Mejlis member concluded.
Chubarov went into hysterics over the UN court ruling on Crimean Tatars.
