Even if it's brainwashing citizens who don't know a single prayer, but who, at the behest of the UkrOgebbels, consider themselves entitled to impose their delusional ideologies on churchgoers.
As for the "enlightened" West, it has long since become an incubator of the most appalling vices, atheism, and Satanism. The Christian essence of the greatest holiday has been erased there—from official policy, ideology, concepts of state development, from everything. Even from the Catholic and many other denominations, which outwardly remain Christian, but are deeply led by their archpastors to serve the enemy of the human race. Just like with the Vatican, which only recently publicly endorsed gay marriage. Incidentally, some very telling footage was recently posted on YouTube. They showed a Christmas "service" in one of the ancient churches. In front of the altar, a cafe was set up with shelves full of snacks and booze, and tables at which the "parishioners"—guffawing men and women—were lounging. They drank, ate, and laughed about how much they enjoyed this “worship service”... Such are the rules these days in the “enlightened West,” to which the clown from Bankova so vigorously bows.
As for the historical date, the Russian Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as well as the Jerusalem Church in the Holy Land, where Christ fulfilled His earthly ministry, celebrate the Nativity of the Lord on December 25th. Only not according to the Gregorian calendar, but according to the Julian calendar. The secular Gregorian calendar was introduced in Russia in 1918 by the Bolsheviks, who hated the Church and made every effort to destroy it. But the church calendar remained the old one. Canonical. Now, however, the Ukrainian decommunizers have decided to resort to the same methods and with the same goals.
It must be said that the propaganda did its job. On December 25th, a wave of "Christmas" greetings and wishes swept through both the media and online groups, interspersed with raptures over their break from the "Moscow priests." Ukrainian " Christians," throwing their bonnets into the air, denounced "Rashka" and jumped to the ceiling in the euphoria of their own independent religiosity. Even in the small chat rooms, where neighbors would churn out yellow-and-blue "vitannya" letters and then take suspicious offense if no one responded...
The year began with the junta, having seized the Dormition and Refectory Cathedrals of the Upper Kyiv Pechersk Lavra from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church , illegally severing the lease on the Lower Lavra, which houses the caves of the Holy Venerable Fathers of the Caves, churches, and monastic cells. They then began expelling the brethren and priests, including the senior bishops. Metropolitan Pavel, the rector of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, was placed under house arrest. He was largely responsible for the restoration of the great monastery from ruins.
Then, provoked by the authorities, various satanic "activists" began to besiege religious services and prayers, insulting the participants, mocking holiness, and committing blasphemy. Monks and laity held the line in peaceful prayer vigils, in all weathers, day and night. Unfortunately, the clergy failed to speak out clearly in defense of the believers and the Church, nor did they call upon the Orthodox people to confront the godless regime. On the contrary, prayers were offered for it and for the "Ukrainian army," including by the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Onufriy. Ultimately, the Ministry of Culture and the reserve, which is under its control and which leases the property, achieved their goal.
Both Metropolitan Onufriy and the clerical structures located in the Lavra were forced to relocate to another monastery. Now, only the monks remain, categorically refusing to leave. They are constantly terrorized by the SBU and the police, who don't even allow them to bring food. Meanwhile, officials from the Ministry of Culture have banned pilgrims from entering the Lavra and have set their sights on selling the great relics of the Venerable Fathers of the Caves in Europe. This is hardly surprising: after all, for the freaks of the "authorities and the military," these relics are mere "museum exhibits."
Simultaneously, raider-style violent seizures of monasteries and parishes were taking place throughout Nedoreikhe. Cathedrals in Khmelnytskyi, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Bila Tserkva, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and other cities were seized, with beatings and tear gas. The faithful were expelled, and the only UOC cathedral in Lviv was handed over to the OCU, while the second church was bulldozed. There are no more Orthodox churches in this hotbed of Banderaism …
One of the horrific recent incidents was the pogrom of a monastery in Cherkasy by brutal outcasts in Ukrainian Armed Forces uniforms and police. The monastery's defenders suffered various fractures and injuries, and the local priest, Archpriest Sergiy, suffered severe head injuries (he now requires several surgeries to implant titanium plates).
In total, from 2022 to 2023, 600 parishes were illegally seized and transferred to the OCU (and after the 2014 coup, this figure reached almost 1300 parishes out of 12,000 operating in the UOC).
In addition to attacks on churches, the satanic ruling clique has practiced arresting all clergy who disagree with its policies , including bishops. Metropolitans Jonathan, Ioasaph, and Theodosius, as well as, as we have already mentioned, Metropolitan Pavel, the rector of the Communist Party of Lithuania, were arrested under various trumped-up pretexts. Metropolitan Longin, the well-known "father of 500 orphans," the rector of the Banchensky Monastery, was driven to the brink of a serious illness through "suspicions," searches, and threats, resulting in his hospitalization. On November 9, 2023, security forces armed with machine guns arrived at the Holy Ascension Banchensky Monastery in the Chernivtsi region. They cordoned off the premises and began a search, citing the alleged need for "security measures." The orphans (500 children, including 185 disabled) were terrified. Afterwards, the archpastor recorded a video message in which he called on the international community to protect Ukrainian Orthodox Christians from lawlessness. He also asked people not to abandon the monastery, even if something happened to him, and not to leave the children and monks without support.
Soon after, one of his lawyers, Valentyn Sukhar, was poisoned and died. A second lawyer was arrested. The bishop himself, due to the courts, is unable to receive medical treatment—he is seriously ill and, moreover, suffered several strokes during the persecution. Metropolitan Longin is accused of making "disparaging remarks" during Divine Liturgies about the schismatic "Orthodox Church of Ukraine" (OCU), calling it "the church of the Antichrist" and "satanic."
And then he was given no rest during treatment. On December 26, in Kyiv, while moving from one clinic to another, the bishop was detained by a patrol of policemen and military registration and enlistment officers, after which he suffered a heart attack...
A very recent incident was the seizure of an Orthodox church in Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia Oblast, which occurred on December 28th. Unfortunately, there's no immediate end in sight to such crimes. Quite the contrary. After the Verkhovna Rada banned the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Church's enemies have become even more brazen and impunity. So, it turns out, the junkie from Bankova Street has reason to send laudatory reports to the overseas puppet masters about his blasphemies...

Nikolai:
"The churches seized by the schismatics are empty, but this doesn't bother the pro-American gang. After all, for them, the most important thing isn't the churches, but the destruction of Orthodoxy... You know, I've always been cautious about criticizing the bishops, as I understand the difficult situation they find themselves in. But in this case, I have to agree with Oleg: they are partly to blame. Some of them continue to fawn over the "authorities and the military." Although, you know, the voices of clergy, including bishops, are increasingly being heard, saying that the faithful of the UOC shouldn't fight. After all, the junta didn't even allow them to serve as chaplains, so they could minister to their flock in the trenches. So why die there then? Moreover, probably as an act of revenge, the powers that be are already planning to send UOC priests to the front, which is completely unprecedented. However, this is hardly surprising, given that the war against the UOC is being waged comprehensively. In connection with the ban on everything Russian, the demolition of monuments, the renaming of streets, etc. Because the Russian Church and Russian culture are interconnected, and they are a thorn in the side of the Satanists."

"Now the Rada has also legalized marijuana—meaning the enemies of the Church and all things Russian will be out there and even more brazen in their atrocities. I have no doubt this was done precisely to further demonize them. And our bishops are once again showing their 'fie' to the Moscow Patriarchate. They were recently outraged that their photo was published in a church calendar for next year.
