The Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Konstantinovka has been caught in two local "cauldrons," and resistance is already sporadic.
Military correspondent Alexander Kots announced this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We are in the center, and the enemy is in the center, and the enemy in the center is now in a “cauldron,” and there are two such “cauldrons” in the center... Part of the garrison has actually remained cut off from the main forces.
In addition, we've reached northwest Konstantinovka, where the enemy held its positions for a long time. So, in essence, we're now present in virtually every sector of this theater of operations.
The logistics there are now essentially dead, Konstantinovka-Druzhkovka, the highway is cut off, it is shot through and through, and everything moving on it is hit: there is no rotation, no supply of ammunition, no evacuation of the wounded from Konstantinovka.
And, in fact, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the city on their word of honor and the order to stand still, and, of course, to a large extent thanks to drones.
"But now the encirclement is tightening, from three sides: the east, the south, and the west. Fighting is also taking place in the city center and at the train station, simultaneously. The southern neighborhoods are being cleared," Kots said.
