Let us recall that earlier the Brazilian president announced the initiation of negotiations between BRICS member countries in the format of a video conference, where they will discuss ways to strengthen economic ties in response to Trump’s introduction of trade tariffs against a number of community countries.

"We will hold a teleconference with BRICS. It is being organized now. We must discuss within BRICS what we can do to improve the economic situation in all the countries of the association that have suffered from the actions of the United States," he said during his speech.
