Boroday: A big war is inevitable, the main blow to Kyiv will be after the 2018 World Cup
The Ukrainian government will commit military provocations in Donbass in the near future, when the World Cup opens in Russia.
This opinion was shared on the Free Press YouTube channel by the head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, former DPR Prime Minister Alexander Borodai, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I expect that there will be provocations of a ground nature, I even imagine where they will be able to strike. In particular, the settlement of Zhelobok is problematic. Obviously they will try to do something. Another thing is that these will most likely be local attempts, and only in the event of some grandiose success, if they pass our battle formations, then they can try to develop this success. But there are reserves, and there may well be a boiler,” Borodai said.
In his opinion, a large-scale attack on the LDPR is possible later.
“I think that this attempt will definitely follow, only much later, when Poroshenko will be put under pressure in the elections. Now they will try again in several places. Now is 2018, the time of the Championship, when their attempts will be local in nature.
As for a big war, I’m afraid that it is completely inevitable, but they will begin an intensive offensive when they are completely stopped from a political point of view, first of all by Poroshenko,” summed up Alexander Boroday.
