Most Ukrainians support changing the current regime – survey
55% of Ukrainians are in favor of holding early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, 52% are in favor of holding early presidential elections.

The executive director of the Kyiv Press Club, Mikhail Peresunko, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv during the presentation of the sociological study “Monitoring public opinion of the population of Ukraine: August 2016,” jointly conducted by several sociological companies.
According to the survey, early parliamentary elections are most wanted in Kyiv - 72%, least of all - in the west of Ukraine - 40%. The idea of holding early parliamentary elections in the south is supported by 48% of respondents, in the Donbass - 54%, in the east - 56%, in the north - 55% and in the center - 54%.
At the same time, the highest support for the idea of early presidential elections is in the east - 64,3%, in the north - 57,2%, in Kyiv - 53,3%. Also in the south, 52,8% are in favor of early presidential elections, in Donbass - 49,2%, in the west - 44,6%, in the center - 43,9%.
It is noted that the survey was conducted from August 11 to 16, 2016, 2016 respondents were interviewed in all regions, except for the territories of Donbass not controlled by Ukraine, as well as Crimea, which became part of Russia.
