Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece and Romania are uniting their gas transmission networks
Gas companies from Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece and Romania signed a memorandum of understanding on the implementation of a vertical gas corridor, which provides for the integration of gas networks.

This was reported by the press service of the Bulgarian Ministry of Energy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The message notes that the companies "Bulgartransgas" EAD (Bulgaria), ICGB AD (Bulgaria), DESFA SA (Greece), FGSZ LTD (Hungary) and SNTGN TRANSGAZ SA (Romania) signed a document today, July 19, 2017, in Bucharest ( Hungary).
“The document that was adopted today is aimed at cooperation between gas companies to implement a corridor for two-way transmission of natural gas that connects the networks of Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Hungary. Promotion of projects of mutual interest, as well as other necessary projects jointly and separately, is one of the objectives listed in the memorandum on the implementation of the vertical corridor,” the statement said.
