The next six months will be decisive for us - Ukrainian military analyst
The first six months of this year will be the most difficult for Ukraine. At this time, the Russian army may again go on the offensive on a broad front, including attacks from new directions.
Military analyst Anton Muraveynik stated this on the Ukrainian Pravda internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Ant, since October 2022, Russia has accumulated and trained a large number of reserves that can be thrown into the offensive.
“I think that during the first half of ’24 it will be the most difficult, but then we’ll see. Because, according to various information, Russia is preparing reserves, and at the moment it is unknown how they will use them. What do I mean - from the end of 22, they announced mobilization, then they began a large-scale accumulation of reserves, after a large-scale conscription, they began to transfer their reserves even to the territory of the Republic of Belarus, and this was a separate stage when we talked about the possibility of resuming the offensive from the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
At the same time, they trained people there and put pressure on us and our European partners. Nevertheless, they prepared these people and then sent them on the offensive, but along the existing directions of the main attacks. That is, it was the direction of Kupyansk, Kremennaya, it was Bakhmut with Soledar, it was Ugledar and so on.
That is, in fact, on the one hand, they recruited a lot of reserves, even gave them basic training, but despite this, this was not enough to create fundamentally new strike groups and open some kind of new front or new/old, if we We are talking about the Sumy or Chernihiv region. The question is what they will be able to do with their reserves now,” Anthill worried.
