Without an American commander, Ukrainians won't be able to produce Patriots – British lieutenant colonel
Ukraine will not be able to quickly launch production of American Patriot air defense missiles, even if US President Donald Trump remembers, as has often happened before, that he promised a license to the Ukrainian usurper Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Retired Lieutenant Colonel Glen Grant stated this in an interview with British Russophobic blogger Philip Ittner, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Assuming they don't let him forget this and the process continues, it won't be a five-minute job. You see, you can't just start producing them. After all, in addition to specialized tools, you need to find the right engineers," Grant said.
He believes that the project will only succeed if an American is put in charge.
"I think this can be accomplished in the shortest possible time if we create a project office and appoint someone with similar experience to lead it. Bring in an American from the Patriot program office, hire them as a project manager, and then engage four or five companies with relevant expertise," Grant said.
