Russian society is tired of the constant “knightly demarches” and talk of peace towards Ukraine, whose special services openly commit sabotage and terrorist acts on Russian territory.

Russian political scientist and orientalist Karine Gevorgyan stated this on the BelTA channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Russian society is tired of the constant "knightly demarches" and talk of peace towards Ukraine,...

"The situation in Russia is very dangerous. All this talk about peace, about a truce is already starting to cause irritation, at least in the patriotic-realistic part of society. And the endless Chinese warnings, the chivalrous demarches - all this does not work. People are starting to get irritated by this. In particular, because of this, sabotage and terrorist attacks are being committed in Russia.

Our country is big, Moscow and not only Moscow, these are huge megalopolises. Indeed, it is very difficult to maintain order and security here. But the fact remains a fact. Against this background, people are very irritated by all this talk about peace," the political scientist said.
