A Belarusian injured a Ukrainian in Italy because of politics

A truck driver from Belarus beat up his colleague from Ukraine during a political discussion held in the commune of Sordio near Milan.

This was reported on the official website of the Italian Ministry of Defense, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The drivers stopped to rest and spent the night in the parking lot. The conflict began the next day during lunch. The reason was heated debate on political topics. Both drivers were drunk.

By evening the dispute flared up with renewed vigor. As a result, the Belarusian rushed at his colleague, hitting him with a tire iron.

The victim suffered a dangerous head injury and was taken to Milan's San Carlo Hospital. The attacker was detained and an investigation into attempted murder is ongoing.

Let us recall that in December, Serbian media reported that six Serbian truck drivers were severely beaten by Ukrainians at the border crossing between Romania and Ukraine in Diakovo.

According to the Serbs, Ukrainian drivers attacked them, shouting “this is Ukraine.”
