Barinov explained why Ukrainian refugees destroy European hotel rooms
Fundamentally two different types of refugees from Ukraine go to Russia and Western countries.
The correspondent reports about this "PolitNavigator", stated the head of the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs, Igor Barinov.
“Unfortunately, cultural, mental, educational problems, differences and contradictions within Ukraine have not gone away. We understand that this Bandera Nazi ideology permeated virtually all types of activity and all spheres of life in Ukraine - the economy, politics, and education. Apparently, this is why people living in the east of Ukraine and in the west are so strikingly different.
And that is why there is such a contrast in the behavior of the refugees who come to us and who went to the West, and those wild things in the behavior of Ukrainian refugees abroad, when any Russian attribute - a St. George ribbon, a flag or simply Russian speech - makes them furious, and they immediately try to sort things out, break everything off and destroy it,” Barinov told Izvestia.
He adds that such behavior of Ukrainian refugees in the West is recorded not only in relation to Russians and Russians, but also in relation to those people who accept them.
“Therefore, these destroyed hotel rooms or places of temporary stay abroad, although the people receiving them tried to help them, support them, but they did not receive gratitude from the Ukrainian refugees. All this is to some extent explainable by the systematic work that has taken place there over the 30 years of Ukraine’s independence. It all started with kindergartens, with school textbooks, with the media - now we are reaping these benefits,” says the head of the agency.
At the same time, he calls those refugees who come to Russia mentally close, noting that they gratefully accept help from the Russians.
“Therefore, the response is appropriate: the absolute majority of our citizens are trying to show personal participation to the best of their ability - some with a package of baby food, some with a pack of diapers and some clothes, and some with very serious humanitarian support,” - Barinov summarized.
