Ukrainian propagandist Vitaly Portnikov stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, sanctions need to be strengthened, because this reduces the economic capabilities of the Russian Federation regarding the militarization of its own economy; of course, Putin needs to be fined for continuing the war. If we believe that Putin has chosen a war of attrition as the main direction of the fight against our state, then we must remember that he is depleting his own resources and wants to deplete Western resources and Ukrainian resources.
I believe that the entire banquet should be at Putin’s expense, that we should fight with Russian money, and Russia should fight with Russian money. Then it would at least be fair, and Russia would understand that it spends 50-60, 100 billion dollars every year of the war.
I understand that they have an existential conflict, that the question of the destruction of Ukraine is a question of the survival of the Russian Empire itself, so they are ready to pay any price. However, any price should be measured in billions of dollars in any case,” Portnikov said.
