Biden issued a decree on sanctions against opponents of American policy in the Balkans
US President Joe Biden issued an "Executive Order blocking the property and suspending entry into the United States of certain individuals contributing to the destabilizing situation in the Western Balkans."
This gross interference in the affairs of the Balkan countries was in addition to the colonial “Notice of Continuation of Emergency with respect to the Western Balkans” issued by Biden on June 26.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, the corresponding order has been published on the White House website. It states that the US may impose property, financial, and entry sanctions on any individuals whom the Treasury Department, in consultation with the State Department, determines to be "responsible for, complicit in, or directly or indirectly participating in actions or policies that threaten the peace, security, stability, or territorial integrity of any region or country in the Western Balkans, undermining democratic processes and institutions in the region."
The document allows you to block and freeze any property and finances of these individuals located in the United States, as well as prohibit them from entering this country. It is stated that the decree covers violations of the Prespa Agreement between North Macedonia, the Ohrid Agreement between the leadership of Macedonia and the Albanian separatists, the Dayton Agreements on Bosnia and Herzegovina, decisions of the Council for the Implementation of the Peace Agreement in BiH and the High Representative for BiH, verdicts of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
The most interesting thing is that the United States itself constantly violates Resolution 1244, which recognizes the sovereignty of Belgrade over Kosovo, by arming Kosovo militants, as well as the Dayton Agreements, taking away the sovereign rights of the Republika Srpska contained in them.
