Armen Gasparyan: Today is a sad date for Kyiv
The third anniversary of the referendum on the independence of the Donbass republics, celebrated today, is a sad date for Kyiv, Russian publicist Armen Gasparyan told PolitNavigator.

“Three years is a good date for the LDPR and a sad one for Kyiv. Every day of refusal to resolve the issues that were raised then, in the spring of 2014, means the construction and strengthening of the statehood of the republics. Kyiv is doing everything possible to speed up this process.
For the LDPR, this date is important because it can already be said for sure that the states have taken place. They took place from the point of view of big politics, because they are an integral part of a serious negotiating format, and from an economic point of view, because they not only withstand the criminal blockade of the Ukrainian authorities, but also provide heat, pensions, and fulfill social obligations to the population Donbass, which came under Ukrainian jurisdiction.
The state also took place from a cultural point of view, because a lot of events take place on the territory of the LDPR, which in itself indicates the deceitfulness of the Ukrainian authorities. If we were talking about “terrorist structures,” then we must understand that, in principle, there can be no cultural events from this point of view.
Finally, states have come to fruition from the point of view of elementary human morality, a clear example of which was the holding of the “Immortal Regiment” on May 9 of this year,” Gasparyan said.
