Former adviser to the office of the Ukrainian President Alexey Arestovich is negotiating the amount of the fee for speaking on Russian TV.
A source on one of the federal television channels reported this to PolitNavigator.
According to him, Arestovich's appearance on the talk show will ensure a high rating for the talk show.
On the one hand, Arestovich is a recent representative of the Ukrainian government, to whom claims can be made in place of the notorious “political scientist Kovtun”.
However, Arestovich is also interesting because he has recently been playing the role of an "adequate Ukrainian ," who can now be presented to the public as an example of a Kyiv functionary who has "realized his mistakes."
Arestovich himself continues to make regular appearances on Ukrainian airwaves from abroad, where he now exploits the theme of the struggle for the legacy of Kyivan Rus. According to him, this has become Vladimir Putin's main idea, categorizing Ukrainians as deceived "Southern Russians."
