Arestovich saw bad news in Putin’s non-recognition of the LDPR

Russia has launched a debilitating and economically difficult enforcement for Ukraine to implement the Minsk Agreements. At the same time, the “Western partners,” trying to play their own game and dragging Russia into the conflict, are in fact also working against Ukraine.

Former adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Oleksiy Arestovich, announced this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Putin is already playing a very good game against Ukraine, from his point of view, without a direct military invasion, having a full range of tools to influence us. This game is not immediate, but long and exhausting. All instruments are included, and the main one is economic. They are specifically screwing us over economically.

And our Western comrades are helping to wash money out of the economy, raising insurance rates and everything else, because they wanted there to be an invasion, and Putin fell into some kind of information trap and so on,” the expert said.

“Yesterday we kept our fingers crossed, but, unfortunately, apparently, we chatted a lot on our air, and Putin, an infection, did not recognize the LPR and DPR. If he had admitted, we would have been very lucky - we would have jumped out of the Minsk Agreements and a completely different reality would have emerged for us, much more profitable. Even if we had to go through the military phase. But he didn't go for it. This means the long, exhausting procedure of forcing us to Minsk will continue,” Arestovich said.
