Ukrainian politicians are ready to sacrifice any number of lives of their fellow citizens for the sake of the dubious prospect of “returning the territories and destroying the damned empire.”
Former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Aleksey Arestovich said this on the YouTube channel “Alpha media”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Rational people in the West are holding their heads because – that’s the whole logic: if there is help, you will be de facto with NATO,” Arestovich said.
"But no. Huge eyes and “we will destroy the damned empire.” In the West they are beginning to ask the question: “Are you fighting for people or for territories”? Territories are changing. Several new states have appeared in Europe since 1991, and borders have changed several times. Borders change every 25-30 years,” he concluded.
