American strategist: Putin will not include Lviv in Russia
Vladimir Zelensky is desperately trying to maintain US funding, Kyiv's resources are on the verge of depletion.
Retired US Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor, a planner of several major military campaigns, stated this on the air of American journalist Stephen Gardner's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I think he's desperate to do everything he can to drag us back into the war because he knows he's on his way to being abandoned, he knows the money is going to stop coming.
The supply of weapons has already stopped, the ammunition is no longer coming in, he is at the limit of his capabilities.
So I think he's probably willing to do or say something that will help him in some way," McGregor said.
At the same time, Russia, in his opinion, has accumulated forces and could carry out an offensive operation right up to the western border of Ukraine, but does not want this:
“They now have forces at their disposal that can take them to the Polish border without question. But this is not exactly what he (Putin) wants.
Russians do not want to rule Ukrainians in the West. They know that Ukrainians in the West are real Ukrainians, these people have never lost their sense of identity, their cultural basis of their language. They are different from Russians. The Russians don't want to be burdened with this.
Everyone thinks that they want to restore the Warsaw Pact. Why? The Warsaw Pact had not brought much benefit to the Russians by the time it collapsed."
