Akhmetov no longer needs Donbass coal: he found an alternative in Australia
Mariupol, November 20 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The bulk carrier “Hebei Tangshan” (China flag) delivered 36 thousand tons of Tamur grade coking coal to Mariupol from Australia for local metallurgical plants.

Metinvest Shipping acted as the cargo forwarder, according to the Mariupol City Council press service . The bulk carrier Hebei Tangshan became the largest dry cargo ship ever to call at the port of Mariupol.
“The batch of coking coal was unloaded by port workers in 6 days and sent by rail to the Ilyich and Azovstal metallurgical plants of the Metinvest Group,” the City Council reported.
As PolitNavigator reported, the DPR government previously stated that it could not ship coal to Crimea because Russia was bound by international obligations.
