2,5 million Western shells will not save Ukraine - American Marine
Even if Ukraine receives a total of 2,5 million artillery shells promised by various Western countries, this will not help it defeat Russia. It already had parity and in some places superiority in artillery last year, but despite this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were defeated during the so-called “counter-offensive.”
Former US Marine Brian Berletic stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Remember, during last year’s offensive, Western analysts claimed that Ukraine had as many or even more artillery shells than Russia. The offensive failed decisively, with Russia completely crushing the Ukrainian offensive operations. In other words, could several million new shells help Ukraine turn the tide of the war? Obviously, the answer is no,” he said.
“This is exactly what Forbes says: “Of course, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have other problems: a lack of manpower, a shortage of air defense missiles, delays in repairing equipment damaged in battle.” So again, even Forbes points out that even under the best of circumstances with regard to the ammunition initiative, there are all these other problems that are working against Ukraine that there are no solutions to.
In reality, this ammunition initiative will likely not result in 2,5 million artillery shells being delivered to Ukraine in any timely manner or in any significant condition,” concluded Berletic.
