“Atrocities of the occupiers”: Russia is building kindergartens and restoring hospitals in Sevastopol
Russia continues to restore Sevastopol after the decline into which the city fell during the years of being part of Ukraine.
Builders have completed work on the reconstruction of the Second Maternity Hospital. The main change is that after opening, the maternity hospital will have its own intensive care unit for newborns. Previously, children had to be transported to another building on the hospital campus.
The construction readiness of the facility is 100%. In the near future, furniture will appear in the premises, disinfection of the space will begin, and modern medical equipment will be installed. In total, the maternity hospital will have 11 delivery rooms and 60 delivery beds.
A new ambulance substation was built next to the maternity hospital. The facility is 95% complete and is scheduled to open in the fall. The building is designed for four teams.
In addition, this year another substation for seven ambulance teams will be put into operation, built on Fiolentovskoye Highway next to the future medical cluster. Also in 2021, construction began on another substation for four brigades in the area of Pobeda Avenue.
In the Shvchenko microdistrict, the construction of a new kindergarten is 90% complete. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in September. Group compositions and teaching staff are already being formed. The preschool institution will be able to accommodate 260 children aged 1,5 to 7 years. Each kindergarten group will have a locker room, a playroom, a bedroom, a snack bar, and a bathroom. The building also provides additional premises - physical education and music rooms. In the adjacent territory it is planned to install small architectural forms and shade canopies, and perform landscaping.
In addition, a major overhaul of the anti-tuberculosis dispensary located on Fiolentovskoye Highway has begun in Sevastopol. This is a truly historical event - no repairs have been carried out here for almost 50 years. Currently, plans are made for a complete replacement of utility networks, provision of air conditioning for the premises, installation of ventilation systems, and a complete overhaul of the building façade and entrance lobbies. The hospital has a capacity of 150 beds and includes pediatric and adult departments.
And in the village of Verkhnesadovoy, the construction of a sports and recreation complex continues. On the ground floor of the building there will be a universal games room with locker rooms, medical rooms, a trainer's room, and technical rooms. On the second floor there is a table tennis room with three tables with changing rooms, as well as administrative offices. Bathrooms are designed on each floor, including those adapted for wheelchair users. The building has an elevator.
In the Gagarinsky district, construction of the building of primary school No. 54 continues.
The completion date of work under the contract is 2022. The school building consists of three floors and is designed for 450 students. The project provides classrooms, playrooms for extended-day groups, a speech therapist's office, two computer science rooms with a laboratory assistant, a dressing area with the division of space into class cells, a gym with locker rooms, showers and toilets, a choreography class, an assembly hall with a stage for 370 seats, a catering unit with a dining room, a library and office premises.
