“We are waiting for the Russian one.” Transnistria refused the vaccine from Romania
Transnistria intends to refuse the AstraZeneca vaccine, 1800 doses of which Romania donated to the republic as part of humanitarian aid to Moldova. The authorities are waiting for the delivery of Sputnik V from Russia.
PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky wrote about this on his Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We have not started vaccinating citizens. Let's wait for now. We have no right to risk the lives of Pridnestrovians. We are waiting for the informed expert opinion of relevant specialists, including WHO.
Regarding the delivery of Sputnik V: work in this direction is underway. The drug will be delivered by plane to Chisinau airport. The exact delivery date has not been determined, but we expect that this will happen in the near future,” Krasnoselsky wrote.
Previously, he spoke about the free supply of 30 thousand doses.
