Refugees from the LDPR are starting a new life in the Northern capital. Businessman Evgeny Prigozhin decided to help them and purchased five houses near St. Petersburg.
It is impossible to remain indifferent to the fate of the residents of Donbass, he said in a letter to the Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak. The United Russia representative immediately responded to the businessman that those in need had already been contacted.
“I cannot remain indifferent to the situation in which the evacuated citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions found themselves,” the entrepreneur noted.
The move from the LDPR to the Northern capital against the backdrop of the Ukrainian crisis can be called a miracle. This opinion was shared by Elina Vyazova, a mother of many children. According to the woman, the dream of her child, who wanted to study in the city on the Neva, has come true. She emphasized that she still does not believe in the reality of what is happening.
“You know, it seems like some kind of just a fairy tale, such magic doesn’t happen. We came from Donetsk and our eldest son, Sashenka, planned to study as a director in St. Petersburg, or at Moscow State University to study as a journalist. And when we asked for help at the reception center, it turned out that they could support us in training and provide housing,” the woman noted.
It is known that on the night of February 23-24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special liberation operation in Ukraine. The head of state drew attention to the necessity of such actions and clarified that nothing threatens civilians.
