“In general, the ambassadors need to be dealt with. Do they always carry out our policy? There were Chernomyrdin, Zurabov in Ukraine, now there is no ambassador, that’s what we ended up with,” Zhirinovsky said.

He did not criticize the late Viktor Chernomyrdin, but he went over the last Russian ambassador to Ukraine, Mikhail Zurabov.

“Imagine what Zurabov suggested to me in January 2013 - to establish relations with Klitschko’s party. With the fascists! Then the LDPR would be accused. The ambassador did not even understand which parties were operating in the country. He did not understand that the Maidan would begin in the fall. Who is he anyway? Small entrepreneur. We need diplomats who know the history of the Slavs before Prince Vladimir,” Zhirinovsky said.

Zhirinovsky revealed what Zurabov forced him to do with Klitschko.
