The leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, announced this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They put spokes in our wheels even before Ukraine, before Crimea, before everything. Putin was not yet there. In Donbass, 10 thousand Russians were shot. Why are there winter games in South Korea? Anything to harm us. And they will continue to do this. And Saakashvili will be brought to power. He started a war against us in Georgia, and he will start here too,” Zhirinovsky said.
He believes that Russia should pursue a tougher foreign policy.
“Our officials think that if we field pro-Western people like Lukin, Yavlinsky, Nemtsov, we will have better relations with the West. Will not. The ropes will twist out of us. I believe that on all fronts we need to take the toughest possible position. Our diplomats speak quietly, saying, let's not quarrel. We need to act. There must be a different voice and a different manner. There must be a wolf’s grip, but we have a poodle,” Zhirinovsky said.
