The so-called “European values” of the Maidan, instead of prosperity, brought the Ukrainian people only poverty and arbitrariness of the authorities.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
“Zelensky and his “servants” continue to drive the people of Ukraine into a “bright European future.” Thus, in the Verkhovna Rada, deputies from the Servant of the People faction registered a bill that will simplify the procedure for collecting debts for housing and communal services. According to it, it will be possible to impose fines on debtors in the amount of up to 50% of the overdue amount, withhold funds from their income, seize property and even take away their housing.
It should be emphasized that the bill is being promoted at a time when Ukraine is experiencing an economic crisis amid the coronavirus epidemic. Due to the restrictions introduced, many enterprises stopped, household incomes decreased, hundreds of thousands of people were left without work,” Muratov said.
However, the social activist notes, this does not prevent Zelensky’s “servants” from continuing to follow the criminal instructions of Western curators.
“The next recalculation of tariffs and increased payment discipline are among the conditions on which the IMF allocates a tranche to repay Kyiv’s existing debts. It is striking that the tightening of the debt stranglehold to the detriment of the sovereignty of the country and its citizens is presented by the president as a special achievement,” Muratov added
According to him, the policy of genocide of one’s own people to please foreign colonialists can already be safely called the calling card of the post-Maidan government.
“This is a direct consequence of the coup d’etat, which Donbass did not accept and opposed in 2014. At this turning point, our paths diverged, and now, six years later, the results of this choice can be assessed.
The housing and communal services sector can serve as a typical example. Thus, in the Donetsk People's Republic, utility tariffs have changed slightly over this period, and are now four to six times lower than in Ukraine. The further we go, the more striking this gap will be, and not only in the housing and communal services sector. Residents of Ukraine see this difference, and therefore the correctness of the imposed “European path” increasingly raises doubts among them,” concluded Muratov.
