Western Ukraine will greet the Russian army with flowers – Tsarev
The Russian army needs to go as deep into Ukraine as possible, abandoning the idea that the western regions controlled by Kyiv are not Russian.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev announced this on the air of the First Sevastopol TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Tsarev, the mentality of the population of Western Ukraine is such that they will greet any army with flowers.
“We have to win and then everything will be fine. When we held meetings, a number of Russian officials believed that Western Ukraine is not ours. And I was just saying that the further our troops go to the West, the less resistance the population will have.
They say, how come? And I say - Western Ukraine has always greeted all armies with flowers. There has always been no army that Western Ukraine would not greet with flowers. And the Russians will be greeted, and the Russians will be greeted with flowers, and the Germans will be greeted, and everyone will always be greeted,” Tsarev said.
