“The West sees us exclusively as a field for feeding” - Ukrainian political scientist
For Western bloc countries, Ukraine is only a source of educated human capital, which was inherited from the USSR.
His colleague Mikhail Chaplyga, who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this in an interview with political scientist Ruslan Bortnik, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" Unfortunately, the elite see Ukraine as a feeding ground. We are very rich. Ukraine was rich, but now that wealth doesn't belong to us. It was very rich in brains, people, and human capital. That's wealth. This wealth of human capital was built on Soviet and post-Soviet education. All of that has already been destroyed," Chaplyga said.
“The way the West sees us is very simple – deconstruction. The West sees us simply as a feeding field. From here you need to take everything you have. To suck out the most valuable thing - the demographic resource, the educated.
And the workforce, which is also educated. Unlike education in Europe, many of our mechanics and plumbers have higher education. This broadens our horizons," the expert added.
