Kolomoisky's deputy called for shutting off the Russian gas pipeline
Kyiv, February 02 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine in economic relations with the Russian Federation and Russian business should behave like an enemy. Vice-governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region Gennady Korban said this in an interview with Public TV.

“Can I service the enemy’s loans? Can you imagine during World War II, Stalin fighting Hitler and servicing German credit? Is it even possible to imagine this? Why does the railway serve Russian business?” - he said.
Korban cited the example of Dnepropetrovsk, where the building of a military hospital was transferred to the Russian VTB Bank for debts.
“Our military hospital turned out to be owned by VTB Bank. But, as you can see, there is a hospital there. Because VTB Bank was called here and was told: if they approach the hospital, then I will approach each of their branches. That's all. Very simple. Conversation as if with an enemy,” the official clarified.
In his opinion, one of the effective ways to put pressure on Moscow is gas transit to the European Union.
“This pipe should have been shut off a long time ago. Just shut it down and say: “Do you want to sell gas to Europe? Sell through us. We buy gas from you at the border, and we’ll deal with Europe ourselves.” I would do this with Russia,” suggests Igor Kolomoisky’s deputy.
